#CanolaInFocus 2019 Photo Contest

From your fields to the world, agriculture defines Saskatchewan. With 23,000 Sask. farmers now growing canola, the crop is an amazing Canadian success story, with one of the “fathers of canola”, Dr. Keith Downey, hailing from Saskatoon himself.

This year, SaskCanola wants to bring canola into focus and we want you to be involved! We’re looking for images that showcase Saskatchewan farmers and the crops you grow, including canola. If you capture and submit a winning photo, you will receive one of three grand prizes. Help us tell the story of Saskatchewan agriculture, the care that farmers take and the investment that farmers make to feed their families and the world.

We welcome any images that represent the crop production cycle, from preparations to seeding through harvest. Have a great photo from the winter months? Submit that too! Many great farm photos may not include canola but tell the proud story of farming in Saskatchewan, so please share. Crop and plant shots that include canola will be favoured.

We invite you to start submitting photos now up until October 31, 2019. Three prizes will be awarded based on skill. Grand prize is a BBQ grill & smoker (approx. value $1,000), Silver prize is an artisan stand mixer (approx. value $400), and Bronze prize is a battery pack (approx. value $120).
