Story Posted: June 30, 2011 Insect Update, June 27 - 30, 2011 Weather synopsis: This week southern Manitoba, south Alberta Peace, and BC Peace River regions received significant rainfall. Recent rainfall has resulted in near- to above-normal precipitation levels through the majority of the prairies, however, the north Peace remains dry and areas within central Saskatchewan and Alberta currently sit at 60 - 85% of average precipitation for the growing season.
