Urgent! Canadian government's draft spring budget falls short on biofuels. Help send a letter to Prime Minister Harper!

We have heard late last week that the government's draft spring budget item for biofuels falls very short of what is needed to provide tax parity with the United States and therefore what is required to build a Canadian biofuels industry. Given that budget deliberations are winding down, we have very little time to impress upon the government just how important it is to have the federal government 10 cent/litre ethanol and 20 cent/litre biodiesel tax incentives in place. Without these, we will not have a biofuels industry in Canada.

NOTE: The letter campaign is now over. Thank you to everyone who got involved and helped us send a message to Prime Minister Harper.

Thanks for playing your part in making the grains and oilseeds sector stronger by building a Canadian biofuels industry! If you have any questions, please call the SaskCanola office at 306-975-0262.
