Overview of Growing

Many Saskatchewan farmers have been growing canola for several decades and yet there continues to be many challenges in attaining good yields. So many factors become variables - some that one can plan for and some which are difficult to forecast.

The Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission (SCDC) is committed to providing growers with current agronomic information to help address these challenges. Therefore, significant financial resources are committed to support the Canola Advantage program of Canola Council of Canada which is dedicated to helping growers remain profitable through extending growing information.
